Nicola Villa

Nicola Villa lives and works in Genoa.

Graduated architect, works in the filed of visual arts since late '90 with painting, printmaking, and mixed media. Working with digital media has been a structural part of his work since the beginning, especially in the development of the project for physical works. In the last years he capsized his classical practice approach to focus on digital media, trying to follow his visual existing language combining digitized elements coming from physical artifacts and digitally native works trough different practices and software. His physical work has been exhibited in private and public galleries in Europe and the US. His digital work was first shown on Tezos in December 2021.
